Biblioteca di Cles
Organised by Comune di Cles
From 5 November to 5 December, the Library of Cles hosts the exhibition "Dalle piante ai colori: lana, seta e piante coloranti", part of the series "Terra, cibo, salute e sicurezza". The exhibition collects the results of a research and experimentation project on the dyeing potential of local flora, conducted on Monte Peller: trees, herbs, flowers and wild fruits that for centuries were the only resource for dyeing wool and silk. The exhibition is promoted by the Municipality of Cles and opens on Thursday 5 November at 8.30 pm with an inaugural conference at the library.
